Do your products contain any allergens, chemicals or processed sugars?
PROSPERITY SPICE BLENDS is dedicated to sourcing the very best real food, plant based ingredients possible. Our products are FREE OF SUGARS, GLUTEN, GRAINS, DAIRY, SOY, FILLERS, ADDITIVES, DYES, FLAVORS AND COLORINGS.
Since we suffered from food allergies and sensitivities ourselves, it was the main reason why we started the line of spices in the first place...
However, our products are our own unique custom spice blends, and are blended in a small facility that also processes mustards, tree nuts and various seeds.
What is the difference between spice and seasoning?
“ Spices’’ are pure dried plant parts, like the seeds, fruit, bark and roots, which are used mainly for flavoring blends and brews, cooked and baked dishes.
Allspice, cloves, cardamom, peppercorns are just a few examples of spices.
“Seasonings” are a combination of multiple flavoring components, such as salt, sugars and spices.
PROSPERITY BLENDS are considered seasonings, though all their blends are FREE OF SUGARS, GLUTEN, GRAINS, DAIRY and SOY.
What is a herb?
“Herbs” are the dried leaves and flowers of short plants with soft stems, known for their fragrance and medicinal purposes. For example thyme, rosemary, basil, and sage are commonly known herbs.
How long do spice blends last?
We have found that our PROSPERITY BLENDS last for about four years, provided that they are stored appropriately. Whole spices last a bit longer than ground spices.
What is the best way to store my PROSPERITY BLENDS?
To ensure long lasting flavor we suggest storing your PROSPERITY BLENDS in airtight glass containers, like mason jars, for example, or any other glass containers with tight lids. Keep them in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, heat and vents.
What do I do with my outdated or expired PROSPERITY BLENDS?
It’s never too late to enjoy a good thing. PROSPERITY BLENDS don’t really expire as such, they just lose their potencies. A great way to use them up, is to sprinkle them over your potato dishes, veggie and meat dishes, soups, use them as rubs …you can even mix them all together before using them ... this way you might be surprised what wonderful different flavors you discover …You may just want to increase the amount of your PROSPERITY BLENDS spices you are using to add flavor and variety to your personal food creations.
Can I return or exchange my purchase?
We accept refunds and exchanges on accessories only. There is no refund or exchange on gift cards, or on our spices and dried goods products. For more information see our Refund policies here.
Can I buy your PROSPERITY BLENDS spices in person?
YES! You can find us throughout the seasons on local markets and fairs! Check out our MARKET, FAIRS & EVENTS Page, for more information on when and where. If we are not actively out and about, this virtual store is your main go-to for your REAL FOOD ESSENTIALS.
Do you ship Internationally?
Currently our customers are predominantly found in Canada.
